Chazal teach that one of the six questions that a person is asked after 120 years is Tzipisah L’Yeshuah— did you eagerly await Yeshuas Hashem?” Upon first reflection, we may ask–what does this question mean; after all, do not we talk about the redemption many times throughout our davening daily? It accordingly appears then that Tzipisah L’Yeshuah is at a minimum something more.
In June 2013, LocalJewishNews reported that there was a middle-aged man driving a compact SUV who was seen throughout the CH and UH communities stalking and at times stopping to engage young girls. There were many incidents over several days. There were no incidents of any touching or kidnapping, instead the suspect was seen acting immodestly and using inappropriate language to children, and perhaps luring children near to his vehicle. Thanks go out to the police for their quick action and strong presence, as well as to community members who were on the lookout. In fact, many parents did encourage their children to come forward to police. There were some who did see things but neglected or chose not to report what they saw however. Yet despite the strong police presence, and community efforts the suspect was not identified and did not return to the area. But …

At the time we had no idea that the story was incorrect and based on very unsubstantial evidence. The state auditor’s office says a report that there is an investigation into Beachwood’s finances is a “misunderstanding.” Carrie Bartunek, a spokeswoman for Auditor David Yost said Wednesday: “There is no special audit for Beachwood. I can’t confirm there’s even an investigation.
The Ohio Department of Education is offering the Jon Peterson Scholarship for all private school students who are eligible to receive an IEP. This scholarship can be used to fund tutoring, remedial instruction, speech and occupational therapies, and other IEP services, up to $20,000. The state auditor has launched an investigation into the city of Beachwood’s finances.
A representative from the state auditor’s special investigations unit would not reveal any details surrounding the nature of the investigation.
“All I can say is that we have (an investigation) open,” spokeswoman Cheryl Gray said Monday morning.
