For avid whiskey lovers, few events are more eagerly anticipated than WhiskyFest, an enormous tasting that touches down in several American cities throughout the year. But when sponsors of the New York festival suddenly moved it last year from Tuesday to Friday and Saturday, many regulars were unable to attend.
As you know, a few nights ago was Agudath Israel’s Midwest Annual Dinner in Chicago.
More than 400 people gathered to honor several deserving awardees, including the speaker pro tempore of the Ohio House of Representatives, The Honorable Matt Huffman.
For those who couldn’t be with us in person, see the links and embedded videos (Vimeo) below for all the videos played at the dinner:

A Yoga group for frum women that has been meeting for three years is reaching out to the community for new members. We meet once a week on Monday nights from 8:30-9:30. We have hired our own instructor who understands the sensitivities of a frum group and gears the class to our needs. Newcomers will fit right in and not feel that the class is too advanced. Women experienced in yoga will advance and not be held back. We meet in a central location between University Heights and Cleveland Heights. There is a reasonable cost, necessary to pay the instructor. Email to Judith Factor at tovmom1@yahoo.com for more information.
