We look forward to welcoming you to one of our largest fundraisers of the year, next week on Sunday April 21 from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm.

As in previous years, most books, including a wide selection of saforim, childrens, fiction and non-fiction secular books will be priced at $2.00 or less!

We are still accepting book donations and are also looking for volunteers to help with set up before the day of the sale and with help running the sale on Sunday April 21.

It was about two years ago that the residents of Cherry Hill, NJ were told that we were eligible to participate in the OU Emerging Communities Fair in New York.  This was fantastic news to us.  After all, we love the fact that Cherry Hill is the kind of warm, friendly community where everybody knows your name, but we also don’t want to be too much of a well-kept secret.

Family will observe Shiva at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Sam and Susan Shvartz, 24400 Union Circle, Beachwood, OH. Mon – Thu  2:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. Mincha/Maariv at 7:45 p.m.

We are seeking to hire college students (18+) who will work in a fun environment for 6 weeks this summer. Counselors with interests in sports, arts, adventure are encouraged to apply!

Open invitation to the Cleveland Jewish Community celebrating Yom Hazikaron / Yom Haatzmaut at Oheb Zedek Taylor Road Synagogue in Cleveland Heights.
Oheb Zedek Taylor Road Synagogue will be celebrating Yom Hazikaron for the fallen Israeli soldiers, and  pre-Yom Haatzmaut on Sunday April 14th at 12:00 PM.
Guest speaker Barry Feldman, President of Mogen David Adom of Israel in Cleveland will make a special presentation.
A memorial prayer for the fallen Israeli soldiers, followed by an Israeli style lunch and Israeli music.

Supporting the Sherman Family

Tuesday, April 9th  at 11am there will be a community and city-wide  gathering to promote  awareness of the tragic passing of Aliza Sherman and the ongoing investigation to search for the perpetrator of this horrific crime. The gathering will be held at 11:00 am at East 12th Street by the Galleria (the location where she was killed) and people are asked to arrive there by 10:45.   Newscasters will be covering the event and therefore  greater attendance will create a greater impact.

Governor John Kasich has proposed expanding the EdChoice Scholarship Program to low-income students entering kindergarten regardless of their zip codes.

Eventually the program is expected to encompass all grades.
