We regret to inform you of the passing of Mrs. Pamela Schwartz, devoted wife of Mr. David Schwartz and loving mother of Aaron and his wife Allyson, and grandmother to Eden Rose and Ivy Claire.

Graveside services will be 1pm Monday, February 28th, at Mt. Olive Cemetery, 1pm. The dial-in number is 425-436-6280 and the access code is 361586.

Shiva will be at 2301 Milton Road, University Heights.

Mincha/ Maariv is 6pm Mon-Thu.

Visiting hours are:

  • Mon: 530pm-8pm
  • Tue-Thu: 11am-2pm & 5:30pm-8pm
  • Fri: 11am-2pm

OU Fund for Ukraine

The attention of the world is riveted on the developing situation in Ukraine. The outbreak of a war that affects the entire country and the region is especially worrisome to the Jewish communities of Ukraine. We are in contact with individuals and organizations who have been engaged in heroic efforts to assist and support the hundreds of thousands of individuals affected and the many reborn Torah communities in the region.

At this critical time, we must all engage in tefillah (sincere prayer) for world peace, שלום בעולם, and for the safety and vitality of Acheinu Bnai Yisrael, the individuals and communities involved. The Orthodox Union is establishing a Ukraine Crisis Fund that will support those heroic efforts on the ground. 100% of proceeds will go to the cause.

Conference Center Administrator/Fiscal Assistant Job Opening at the Jewish Federation of Cleveland

Under direction of the Business Director, the Conference Center Administrator/Fiscal Assistant manages the schedule and activities of the Conference Center, as well as works closely with the Business Director on a range of fiscal activities.

The scope of duties related to the Conference Center range from logistics for in-house staff meetings to large community events. Coordinating the needs of the Center, the Administrator works closely with the Kitchen Manager, maintenance staff, security team and others. Responsibilities include overseeing the Conference Center and meeting room calendars, as well as the Community Calendar. The Administrator also supports the Business Director and fiscal department on a variety of projects, as needed.

Please wear UV reactive (blacklight) accessories… just Google it to find out how to make yourself glow. We will have accessories on hand as well. The night will conclude with a fantastic firework show to make the sky light up! Please dress for the weather.
