After an official vote from its congregants (134-17), Green Road Synagogue will be embarking on the construction of a new facility.
“We had a great discussion about the new building project in which we heard comments from a wide variety of the congregation,” Dan Borison, GRS president wrote in an email. “In the end, the proposal to construct a new building passed overwhelmingly.”
The proposed 40,000 new building will sit behind and replace the aging 27,000 square foot structure.
