Armin Jacob passed away March 24. He was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth. Loving father of Marty (Elaine) Jacob, Bob (Debby) Jacob and Nancy Jacob. A Holocaust survivor and member of Oheb Zedek-Cedar Sinai Synagogue (Taylor Road Synagogue). Cherished grandfather of Deborah (Eric) Hurwitz, Jenny (Randy) Begley, David (Makayla) Jacob, Danny (Ruth) Jacob and Adam Jacob. Step-grandfather of Hallie (Drew) Benigar and Heather (Phil) Wendzicki. Great-grandfather of 16.

His funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27 at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel in Cleveland Heights. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Solon.

Shiva will be observed at the house, 4497 Mackall Road in South Euclid as follows:

• Tuesday following the funeral until 8 p.m.
• Wednesday & Thursday 1 – 3 and 6 – 8 p.m.
• Friday 10 a.m. – noon

We regret to inform you of the passing of Lynda Steiner, wife of Dr. Joseph Steiner, mother of Jonathan (Melissa) Steiner and Ricki Steiner, grandmother of Reut Steiner. Lynda was instrumental in promoting Torah learning, with a particular emphasis on women’s learning. She was a driving force in Torat Tzion Kollel, Women’s Beit Midrash, Mizrachi, Green Road Synagogue, and many other organizations.
